How Does Press Brake Work

An automatic lubrication device is an air-operated system that delivers grease to all points of lubrication (except the backgauge screws). This feature is great for multi-shift operations. All press brakes come standard with a standard manifold central lubrication system.

Another variant of the dual cylinder machine, the torque tube brake, has two pistons that produce half of its total tonnage. Torque tube brakes are not able to generate full tonnage across their entire bed. They only have full tonnage within the center of the brake pad. The torque tube pulls tonnage out of each cylinder, which can cause distortion from off-center loading. Standard Industrial single-cylinder brakes have no balancing act and no complicated hydraulic systems to compensate for each individual cylinder's weaknesses. One cylinder is enough to provide full torque everywhere. This allows you to achieve a repeat accuracy of +/*.001'' wherever you are working.

This feature allows you to align dies or load applications off-center. Change levels in seconds. The convenient ram indicator (ram level) shows how far you are from the zero point (ram-level). This indicator is easy-to-read and clear. Orders can be ordered with power tilting system.

Our manual control presses brakes can be used in jobs and industries that do not require precision or detail like CNC controls. While the manual press brakes feature the same safety features as the CNC models, they are still powerful and easy to use for simple jobs. These include a front-operated powerback-gauge and adjustable ram with digital readouts. There are also fine adjustment handwheels that allow for both. Our models are available in a range of weights, from 22 tons up to 440 tons.

Do hydraulic brakes self adjust?

Hydraulic disc brakes have the advantage of self-adjusting as they wear down. The caliper's design will allow it to retract a predetermined distance from the rotor, regardless of how worn the pads are. This is amazing, and you don't need to adjust your brakes like with mechanical pads.
